When do I need civil engineering input?
Civil engineering can be required at different stages of a project, depending on the site, proposed development and council requirements. Getting us involved early can help identify stormwater, wastewater, water supply, access and other civil requirements before plans are finalised.
What is included in Three Waters and infrastructure?
Three Waters covers stormwater, wastewater and potable water. Depending on your project, this can include onsite systems, connections to public networks, water supply design, stormwater management and other infrastructure requirements associated with the site and development. Do you handle council consenting & compliance documentation?
Yes. We liaise with councils and Watercare where required and provide engineering documentation to support the consent process. We can also provide producer statements (PS1–PS4) where applicable to the work.
Will you work with my other project professionals?
Yes. We work alongside the other professionals involved in your project, coordinating our engineering with the wider design and development process. This can include architects, planners, surveyors, builders and other consultants.
Can you assess my site before I finalise my plans?
Yes. Involving us early allows us to consider the site’s constraints and servicing requirements before plans and the development layout are finalised. This can help identify engineering requirements early and inform the design of the project.
